BLUE LOCK Chapter 2 is live in Free Fire MAX: real prices so far, free rewards calendar, and whether to spend

Updated Monday, 20 July: this guide originally previewed the launch. It now carries the store prices seen since the event went live on 17 July, the free rewards calendar, and what changed versus the leaks.

Football fever met Free Fire on Friday, 17 July: BLUE LOCK Chapter 2 is live in Free Fire MAX, with Rin Itoshi (jersey no. 10) making his debut and the Chapter 1 stars returning. If you loved the first Blue Lock collab in November 2024, or missed it and regretted it, here is where everything stands now, and how to plan your diamonds.

The basics, confirmed

Chapter 2 runs 17 July to 16 August per Garena’s promo material, a full month. One caveat before you plan a late chase: the Brazil server’s official calendar lists 9 August as its end date, a week shorter, and Garena has not published a separate India-server end date. Treat the in-game event calendar as the final word and do not leave your token exchange for the last weekend.

The structure has three parts: a premium BLUE LOCK Ring spin event that pays out items plus BLUE LOCK Tokens, a token exchange shop where the big bundles have fixed prices, and free mission events with a staged reward calendar. Chapter 2 also brings back the full Chapter 1 catalogue (Isagi and Nagi bundles, FAMAS and Vector skins, emotes) as a final-chance window for collectors.

The real prices so far

These are the prices players are seeing in the live store since 17 July, reported first from the Brazil/global side of the event. Collab pricing usually matches across servers, but check your own event tab before spending:

• Rin Itoshi Bundle: 329 tokens, or a direct purchase at 2,632 diamonds. Yes, direct purchase exists this time.
• Isagi and Nagi bundles: 329 tokens or 2,632 diamonds each.
• Isagi and Nagi emotes: 109 tokens or 872 diamonds each.
• Blue Lock Bundle and FAMAS Blue Lock skin: 129 tokens or 1,032 diamonds each.
• Loot Box and Backpack: 49 tokens or 392 diamonds each.
• Ring spins: 20 diamonds per spin. The single-spin price matches the Chapter 1 Isagi Ring on the India server, a good sign the India numbers line up. Multi-spin pack pricing has varied by promo day in this collab, so read the wheel screen before committing.

At the standard top-up rate of ₹84 per 100 diamonds, a direct Rin bundle purchase lands around ₹2,200. Spinning for tokens can come out cheaper or costlier depending on luck; the fixed price puts a ceiling on the damage.

What changed versus the leaks

• Leak roundups claimed the Rin bundle could not be bought outright and estimated 2,000 to 4,500 diamonds through the pity system. The live store contradicts both: direct purchase is available, and it costs less than the leaked worst case.
• The heavily promoted XM8 “Flow State” weapon skin has not appeared in any live store listing we can verify. Until it shows up in-game, treat it as not part of Chapter 2.

The free rewards calendar

Free means free: these come from event missions, not the token wheel. The staged dates published for the event so far:

• BLUE LOCK Motorbike skin: from Saturday, 18 July
• Rin avatar: from Monday, 20 July (today)
• BLUE LOCK Parachute: scheduled from Friday, 24 July per the launch calendar (confirm in the in-game tab)
• Vector BLUE LOCK gun skin: from Saturday, 1 August

Alongside those, the event lists a Weapon Loot Crate, avatars, a banner, a photo frame and a photo sticker across its mission tabs.

Should you spend?

Our advice stands, with better numbers behind it now. Claim the free calendar first. If you want Rin, the 2,632-diamond direct purchase is the sane route; only spin the Ring if you enjoy the gamble itself or want the extra wheel items. An event that runs a month gives you zero reason to rush, and if you top up, stick to the official in-game channel and ignore every “cheap Blue Lock diamonds” link on social media.

New since launch: the Red Card wheel

Added Thursday, 23 July: a football-themed Red Card Finishing Move arrived in a Faded Wheel that started Monday, 20 July and runs about nine days, so it should close around Tuesday, 28 July. It uses the usual Faded Wheel ladder (spins from 9 diamonds, rising per spin), with the referee-style elimination animation as the grand prize. It sits outside the token shop above, so budget for it separately if you want it, and check the wheel screen for the exact end time.
