Free Fire MAX events right now: what is live, what just ended, and the August 2026 calendar

August 2026 Free Fire MAX events calendar: Emote Royale and BLUE LOCK live now, Booyah Pass S44 on 1 August, FFMIC Group Stage from 6 August

The anniversary is over, the Red Card wheel has spun its last, and the July Booyah Pass ends tomorrow. If your events tab suddenly looks emptier, this is the reset week. Here is everything actually live in Free Fire MAX right now for Indian players, what just ended, and what August has lined up, all dates in IST.

Live right now

The Emote Royale that arrived on 21 July stays until 7 or 8 August by its 18-day listing, so about a week remains to chase the LOL emote. Spins are 20 diamonds each (90 for five), with a grand prize guaranteed inside 50 spins. Our advice from the diamonds priority guide still stands: it is cosmetic only, so treat it as the last stop for spare diamonds, not the first.

Newer on the server is the Arrival Animation event, which appeared on 27 July and is listed for 14 days, so until about 10 August. This one is the pick-first type: you choose one Grand and one Bonus prize before spinning, spins cost 9 to 499 diamonds on a rising ladder, and six spins at most (about 834 diamonds) clear both picks. The Achiever Steps arrival animation and the Beast Warrior bundle headline the pool. Check the Luck Royale tab in-game for the exact list on the India server.

BLUE LOCK Chapter 2 runs to 16 August on the India server per the shared event timeline; the 9 August date floating around online is the Brazil server, not ours. One caution: sub-events inside the collab close earlier than the collab itself, and the free Blue Lock motorbike came through one of those short mission windows, so open the events tab today rather than assuming it is still there. The Rin Itoshi bundle remains the paid headline. Full details in our BLUE LOCK guide.

And today’s redeem codes went up this morning on the codes page: seven working candidates, including one brand-new drop.

Just ended

  • The 9th Anniversary closed on 26 July. Unspent Magic Cubes stay in your vault, but the anniversary missions are gone.
  • The Red Card Faded Wheel wrapped up around 29 July after its nine-day run.
  • The July Booyah Pass (S43) ends 31 July. Claim any unclaimed tier rewards today or tomorrow, they do not carry over.

Coming in August

The new Booyah Pass, Season 44, is expected on 1 August. Leaks call it “An Apple a Day”, with a red-apple bundle at level 1, a green-apple bundle at level 100, and expected pricing of 399 diamonds (899 for Premium Plus with a 50-level boost). Garena has not officially revealed it yet, so every reward name is still leak material; the in-game reveal usually lands right before launch. Our Booyah Pass leaks post has the full rumoured tier list, and we will update it the moment the official version drops.

FFMIC 2026 Fall enters the Group Stage from 6 to 16 August. The Play-Ins finished on 26 July with 42 teams advancing; they join six seeded slots earned in the Spring season, where the top six were Team HIND, Fireeyes Gaming, Total Gaming Esports, GodLike Esports, RNX Esports and Revenant XSpark. Two of those rosters have since moved houses: the championship HIND lineup now plays under Team Apex Gaming and the runner-up Fireeyes lineup under S8UL, and Garena’s official 48-team list is not out yet, so the exact names you see on 6 August may read differently. Forty-eight teams, two weekends, and a ₹1 crore prize pool on the line. Matches stream free on the Free Fire MAX Esports India YouTube channel, with Hindi and English commentary. Background in our FFMIC roadmap.

OB55 remains the big unknown. Leak trackers point to late August (around the 21st) for Advance Server registrations, and some sites float 2 September for the global update. Garena has published no date for either, so treat both as guesses for now.

The honest take

This is a claim-and-wait week. Finish the S43 pass before Friday night, grab the free BLUE LOCK rewards, and keep your diamonds in the vault: the new Booyah Pass lands Saturday, and a pass is nearly always better value than a mid-week luck royale. If you only do one thing today, redeem the fresh codes before they hit their cap.
